My subject matter expertise includes value-based payment models, delivery system design and operations, product and business development, health information technology and the use of measurement and data to drive improvement. I have deep expertise in collecting and using patient reported outcomes surveys in research and care. Much of my recent work has focused on maternity care and orthopaedic care.
My experience spans many aspects of the healthcare system, including the delivery system, health plans, self insured payors, research, and policy.

Scaling product development operations for digital health
Advised innovation arm of major integrated delivery system seeking to develop and commercialize digital tools to collect PROs and enhance patient-provider interactions. Developed repeatable process for product development.
Program design for management of complex patients
Consulted on program design of MediCal program to provide health homes for patients with complex conditions. Initiative involved philanthropic funders, state agencies, private payers and diverse delivery system partners.
New product development
Assessed the market for and developed new product offering for a national health plan. Product integrates worksite wellness, incentives, and onsite services.
Portfolio design
Provided portfolio management for major CA philanthropy focused on opiod safety and reduction.
Multi-stakeholder facilitation
Managed statewide, multi-stakeholder team of public, private and non-profit leaders to develop agreement on metrics, program components and implementation of California State Innovation Plan initiatives on medically complex patients.
